Christina Haack was birthed in Anaheim California on the 9th of July, 1984. Her first job post-school was that of a real estate agent. That's how she met her future partner, Tarek El Moussa. They enjoyed great success in the years prior to 2008 when the stock market crashed and numerous house flippers and real estate investors went bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussisa, both lost the majority of their assets as a result of the 2008 stock market collapse. The couple went from a $6,000 monthly home up to a condo that cost $700 per month. Slowly, their business and the overall economy recovered. HGTV: Rise to Fame Tarek had a trusted friend to make an audition tape for HGTV in 2011. The tape was a video of him as well as Christina flipping the entire home. The tape landed in the hands of executives of a production firm called Pie Town Productions. They fell in love with Tarek Christina. In 2012, the couple signed a contract with HGTV. "Flip of Flop" began its premiere in April of 2013. Between 2013 and 2017, the show ran 92 episodes in seven seasons. Christina and Tarek from the show, who were in the series, would purchase houses, usually middle-income homes situated in Orange County.
